NEWS
	Happy New Year!! We have plenty of snow to play in, including riding to the meeting. Todd and Jim worked hard on grooming Highway 3, while Joe, Derek, Bret, Jody, and DJ groomed Merrill and Four Brothers trail. Jamie and Corey groomed around Remsen to Beer City so we can ride to out meeting on Wednesday. When riding in the small towns please have respect as it is a privilege for us to run a trail so please don't abuse it. Thank you to Jody, Christine, Joe, Mit, Adam, Josh Swayback, Gage (Mit's grandson), Jim and Tim Norris for working Pioneer Village on a cold weekend. With all the snow we have received this season, now would be a good time to recruit new members. Most people that are asked are interested, but members have not asked them or spread the word. Stop and think of someone you know about becoming a member and bring them to a meeting with you. January 6, 2010 at 7 pm at Avalon unless there is a conflict with Dean due to the circumstance, please check at Beer City. Items on the table are Fun Run Report, Check on Sweatshirts, Trail Map, Trail Report, and Places Members have Visited. Hope to see you all there!!

	All of the main trail has been groomed, thanks to Todd, Jim, Derek, Joe, and Jody. On a sad note, we have lost a member of our family today, Ken Rhodes passed away from a blood clot. Ken is Dean's brother who helped out behind the bar and had members of our club for numerous years. Please keep Ken's family in your prayers and thoughts. He had always gives a helping hand, thru the years and DJ personally will miss all his razzing that he had to give. He will be greatly missed.

	A cross-post for O'Brien County Snowtrackers, for a Fun Run that is tenatively scheduled for January 23, 2010 from Sutherland. Also, Snowdeo/Radar Run on February 7, 2010 from Archer. Osceola County High Point Riders Fun Run is on January 16, 2010. Registration is at Jackrabbit Junction-Sibley and the route from Ocheyedam - May City - Melvin - Ashton - Sibley.

	Pioneer Village Christmas Wonderland We have members who have volunteered to help roast marshmallows on Saturday 12/5 and Sunday 12/6. Everyone should come out and enjoy the great marshmallow roast. The event sounds like a blast and very romantic sitting around the fire in below freezing weather with your loved one. For more information click on the title above.
